At North East Sight Matters we provide the foundation to enable children and young people to thrive and gain self-confidence and look forward to a more positive future. We deliver informative and practical competence training that provides appropriate, safe, and adapted methods of life skills for both children and adults.

We have a bank of experienced and qualified Vision Rehabilitation Specialists based in the North East. They have worked within local authorities, education, and charitable organisations, so have a vast range of professional practice. We work with children, young people and adults.

Specialist VI equipment can sometimes very costly or no longer used; why not use our service to buy and sell your unused equipment including toys, books and tech etc?
We will advertise it here and on our social media pages on your behalf where we can put you in touch with buyers and sellers.
If you prefer to donate any suitable equipment, North East Sight Matters will loan this to people who are eligible, all free of charge.
